Jim Norton (2006)

      A multi-scholarship recipient at Holy Angels while helping the school basketball team go 31 – 0 and win the Kentucky Christian Athletic Assoc. state championship his senior year, Jim is completing his bachelors degree in Business Leadership at the University of Dallas while pursuing his true passion, basketball.  As a four year letterman for the University of Dallas, he leads his team in scoring and is second in rebounding as Dallas makes a run for an NCAA division III tournament bid.  Jim will continue his studies at Dallas next year to obtain a Masters in Accounting.

 

Bill Norton (2004)

      Recently accepted a position with the Army Corps of Engineers in their Louisville office.  Bill attended the University of Louisville after being granted their highest scholarship award, the prestigious Grawemeyer Scholarship.  In May of 2009 he received his Masters of Engineering degree from the Speed School of Engineering.  He remains active with his college fraternity, Lambda Chi Alpha, of which he was a two-term president, and is currently enjoying living downtown on the 15th floor of an apartment close to work.

 

Matthew Kenney (2001)

      A National Merit Scholarship winner and graduate of the University of Louisville's Speed School of Engineering, Matt is in his second year of missionary work in Belize.  He is teaching physics, leading youth groups, and helping in planning the construction of a new facility in that region.

 

Alexandrina Spalding (2001) Erb

      Another multi-scholarship winner, Governor's Scholar runner-up, and graduate of Magdalen College's fine liberal arts program, Drina did her "missionary" work teaching full-time here at Holy Angels Academy last year.  She left Holy Angels last fall when she and her husband John were blessed with the arrival of their new baby.  She is now devoting her energies full time to her "domestic church."

 

Dawn Driskell (2000) Beard

      A Governor's Scholar, multi-scholarship winner, and graduate of Centre Collge, Dawn also worked as a full-time instructor at Holy Angels until baby Deidre arrived.  She still teaches our senior Humanities class.

 

Nicholas Kenney (1999)

      Our first doctor, a National Merit Scholarship winner, and honors graduate of Transylvania University and the University of Louisville Medical School, Nick is now an intern at the University of Florida.  His charming wife Lorrie and daughter Michaela are enjoying the sunny weather.

 

Adam Detherage (1998)

      An inaugural graduate of Holy Angels Academy, Adam graduated from the University of Louisville and is an accountant for Uof L while pursuing his Master's degree.  Formerly he worked in banking for Wayside Christian Mission helping those in need.
